"Rachel gets the job done, and does so with efficiency. You can depend on Rachel to be organized, to have a plan, and to actually follow through on it."

Rachel is one of the best listeners that I've met. She takes in the whole of what someone is saying, synthesizes it in her brain, and checks in to make sure she is understanding it in the way the person communicating meant. Her deliberateness is refreshing. She also proactively seeks ways to improve herself and responds well to any feedback that someone gives her.

"You did an awesome job interacting with GSA (Graduate Student Association) leaders and Bentley administration in a way that allowed the UXGA (User Experience Graduate Association) to make things happen."

— Former board member, User Experience Graduate Association (of which I was President for 2 years)

"You are able to bring team members together and shine light on what is shared rather than what is different. This benefits all team members and also supports progress."

Rachel is a natural leader. She is "wicked smart" (knowledge), has an impressive foundation in UX with the UXC [User Experience center] & Master of Science (craft) and is a direct, articulate and respectful communicator (influence).

Rachel does the 'give and take' dance very well, working to understand and helping others to bring our their best.  If someone on the team has taken a lead in a particular role, Rachel lets them do what they have promised, and if she has thoughts or ideas, is able to present them in a way to that person that helps them, rather than steps on their toes

When Rachel is "in" a project, she is in it 100%.  She listens to others, responds well, and works hard to create win-win situations.
